Lodge
We offer two types of lodging accommodations at Fish On Lodge.
We offer a lodge and tent style camping. Our main lodge consists
of three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living area that your group
can enjoy all alone. Each room is equipped with a double sized
bed for your comfort. Furthermore, the lodge gives you a chance
to get away from the mosquitoes, which have been known to pack
people off in Alaska.
We
also have the option of staying in a remote cabin along the
Nushagak. This cabin is used mainly for rainbow, grayling, and
pike fishing. However, it is used on occasion for salmon fishing.
Tents
We offer tent camping along the river as well. We can set up
a tent camp anywhere you desire along the river. Tent camps
are only used when clients prefer to stay a few nights out along
the river. There is nothing like camping along the mighty Nushagak
River.
Meals
We offer a variety of Native Alaskan dishes along with traditional dishes. Native dishes consist of akutaq (Eskimo icecream), atcuaraq (Eskimo pudding), moose hamburgers, moose steak,
caribou steak, salmon steak, smoked salmon strips, salmon chowder, and much more. Traditional dishes include T-bone steak, rib eye steak, crab, hamburgers, chicken, a variety of salads,
and much more.
